DJI have just dropped DJI GO 4 version 4 4.2.12 and with the came support for the new soon to be announced Phantom 4 PRO V2.0.

There have been a few images floating about of the Phantom 4 PRO V2.0 and from what we can gather, one of the main visual differences is a set of quiet props similar to the Mavic Pro PLATINUM so expect it to be quieter and with a slight speed increase over the other P4 versions..

To accompany the new props, again like the Mavic Platinum, the ESC’s will likely have been stepped up and also the motors might have a different revision.

It will also likely incorporate some of the features that came with the Mavic Air ( brilliant drone by the way, highly recommended ) like HDR images and enhanced obstacle avoidance such as Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) and some of the gimmicky image capture features.

The RC has changed a little too so maybe DJI have incorporated OcuSync into the Phantom range.

There is a possibility of an updated camera as well as the also speculated RTK versions but this seems unlikely as it would be beyond the reach of amateur consumers and more specialised use case commercial use.

When will this be released? No idea but it’s normally quite soon when the GO App has references to a new model baked into it.
