New Phantom 4 Firmware version 1.1.411

DJI have released an urgent firmware for the Phantom 4.


1. If you have NOT already updated anything to firmware 1.1.410 then follow the information in this POST to upgrade to 1.1.411 – http://www.phantom4-guide.co.uk/phantom-4-firmware-v1-1-410-released as you will need to update any additional batteries you have. The post will give you guidance on this.
2: If you have already updated to 1.1.410 and done all your batteries then this update if for the AIRCRAFT ONLY.
3: If you DOWNGRADED from 1.1.410 back to 1.1.301 you only need to update the AIRCRAFT ONLY to 1.4.411.
4: When video mode is set to 4K4096*2160 ), you might see some jagged lines across straight edges in the LIVE VIDEO FEED ONLY. This does not affect any recorded video and will be resolved as part of bug fixing in the next release.

5: DJI Assistant 2 has also been updated to version 1.0.4 for both Windows and Mac.

What’s New:

1. Fixed the camera live view so it does not become blurry when using a color profile, i.e. D-Log, B&W, Vivid etc.

What You Need:

Before you start the update, you will need to make sure of the following.

1: Phantom 4 battery is at least 50%
2: Mobile device is at least 50%
3: The SD card is IN the Phantom 4.
4: You have the USB OTG ( on-the-go ) cable that came with the Phantom and also the USB cable used to attach your mobile device to the RC.
5: You have internet connection on the mobile device.
6: A few minutes of your time.

1: Connect the Phantom 4 and the mobile device together using the OTG cable.
Connect Phantom and Mobile Device via the OTG Cable.
2: Power ON the Phantom 4

3: Open the DJI GO App. You will be prompted that there is an update available. Tap “Update Now”
Click Update Now

4: Tap “Download Now”
Tap Download Now

5: Once the firmware has downloaded, Tap “Upgrade Now”

6: The update can take up to 15 minutes and the Phantom 4 many flash it’s lights and make sounds, wait to be prompted by the App that it is complete. You can now power OFF the Phantom 4 and disconnect the cables.

7: The “About” menu will show the following firmware details 1.1.411 once finished ( note: App might show 2.8.3 if you are running the latest ).

Good to see Dji acting quickly to address issues in their updates. I also appreciate the update videos and photographs showing the process of updating in clear and concise steps. Very helpful presentation.

Good to see DJI fixing issues quickly in their Firmware updates. I appreciate the clear guides in video and photos showing how to update the craft and devices in easy to follow steps. Great job thanks DJI.
